The Centre for Health and Human Performance (CHHP) began as a new concept in fully integrated specialist services directly accessible to anyone. They combine the very latest in Specialist Medicine, Human Performance, Sport and Exercise Medicine, Nutrition, Physiotherapy and Sport Science.
They are also currently running a FREE covid clinic for anyone who has had Covid and are looking to build back into exercising safely. The Cancer Care map is an excellent tool, it is a UK wide online directory of cancer care services, putting you in touch with the support organisations in your local area.
SafeFit is a fantastic free remote service for anyone in the UK with suspicion of or confirmed diagnosis of cancer. They put you in contact with a cancer exercise specialist who will help you via video consultations.
The cancer exercise specialists offer you advice, support and resources to maintain and improve physical and mental well-being.
Sarah Russell is a Clinical Exercise Specialist, Cancer Rehabilitation Instructor and Clinical Pilates Teacher.
Sarah is also an expert on all things bowel cancer and having a stoma. She has written this fantastic book: 'The Bowel Cancer Recovery Toolkit' which we thoroughly recommend.
The Secondary Sisters are two friends who have secondary breast cancer. They are doing an incredible job of changing perceptions of living with incurable breast cancer.
Their Instagram feed contains so much great information to educate and inform as well as to promote many other brilliant initiatives and charities.
Ryan founded Life Kitchen after his mum died of cancer; they provide free cookery classes and recipes to help people living with cancer to enjoy food again.

Prehab4Cancer is project in Greater Manchester to support those newly diagnosed with cancer, to engage in exercise, nutritional screening support with emotional well-being. They are recognising the importance of preparation ‘Prehabilitation’ and active recovery pathways in cancer treatment.

Carolyn is a fabulous writer and a very knowledgeable cancer rehab instructor. She is currently writing a book: A guide to getting fitter and stronger, for people living with, or beyond, cancer. We can't wait to read it!

Her blogs are great, from life after a cancer diagnosis to exercise and diet tips, there's something everyone will find useful.
'Putting the CAN in Cancer': This is an excellent podcast hosted by Steve Bland, Deborah James and Lauren Mahon.
They discuss every topic relating to cancer- there are hundreds of podcasts to go back and listen to and excellent blogs too. This is really worth downloading and listening to.
Lucy and Gemma talk about MOVE Charity and 5k Your Way on this one about cancer and exercise.
