MOVE Charity Ball Postponed - New Date to be confirmed soon.

 To all our wonderful supporters

At MOVE Charity HQ we have had lengthy internal discussions about the MOVE Charity Fundraising Ball which is due to take place next Friday 20th March. It is with regret that we have made the decision to postpone the Ball. This was an incredibly tough decision to make and one that wasn’t taken lightly. This is our biggest fundraising event in our calendar and raises vital money to support our services. However, our number one priority as always is the health and wellbeing of our community and supporters. We feel at the moment there is a lot on uncertainty around what will happen over the next few weeks and therefore this will also affect our guests attending the ball and the entertainment for the evening.

We are currently working with all involved to come up with a new date for the MOVE charity Fundraising Ball with special guest Steve Cram and we will be looking to rearrange a date on a Friday night in October or November 2020.  We are working to have this date confirmed as soon as possible. We really hope that together you will join us to make this event bigger and better than it has ever been.

We can offer a refund at a later date too if the timings don’t work for you otherwise if you are happy to support us as a small charity and keep your ticket for the rearranged date that would be fantastic. Due to the event cancellation and the current situation with the coronavirus we are heading into a time where our income will be severely affected and restricted so we would love for you to join us when the event takes place later in the year.

We hope you all understand and support our decision. If you would like to discuss any of the above further, please do get in touch.

Have a great day. Keep active, keep smiling and keep in touch.

What We Do

MOVE provide practical and online support to people living with and beyond cancer.

We focus our services on children and young people living with and beyond cancer and also a wider age range through our  5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer initiative linked to parkrun.

MOVE is embarking on a mission to inspire people to #MoveAgainstCancer

Being diagnosed with cancer means people face an extremely tough journey. There is so much thrown at you both physically and mentally during treatment and it doesn’t just stop there.

Your Support

The MOVE Charity Ball is the biggest event in our calendar and with your generous support you can continue our mission of moving against cancer.
